Core Values

Teaching Men to Be Spiritual Leaders, Evangelism and Mission, Compassion Ministry and Practical Application.

There is an intentional focus on teaching men to be the scriptural heads of their homes, and how to fulfill their responsibilities as husband and father. We also teach and practice the scriptural role of women as helpmates to their husbands and the focus of their husband’s self-sacrificing love as scripture commands.

There is an intentional emphasis on the family. We seek to cultivate the Bible’s view of children and the importance of a thoroughly Christian education for them. Much effort is given to equip parents to disciple their own children. It is also expected of all parents to be faithful to this God given task.

Practical Application

There is a strong desire for our lives to give evidence of practical Christianity. Biblical teaching should lead to changed lives. Consequently, there is a clear stress on practical obedience to the Word of God. We emphasize a solid and defined doctrinal foundation on which to build our lives as Christians. As evangelical Christians we stand in the stream of historic Protestant orthodoxy, and are seeking to build upon that foundation.

Evangelism and Missions

We have a scriptural responsibility to be faithful in evangelism and we choose to cooperate with sister churches in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Compassion Ministry

We have a scriptural mandate to share with the needy in our community. Our families are encouraged to minister to family, friends, and neighbors who are in distress, and to bring those needs to the body when unable to meet the need themselves. In today’s world, this may include the unemployed, a single mom or families who are going through difficult times. We are committed to bringing hope to the hopeless.
