Worship Statement
At Grace Community Church we focus on three areas for our approach to worship. First we seek to glorify the Triune God with our music and worship. We do this by seeking His manifest presence and engaging in a passionate, biblically appropriate, expression of our faith. We also pay close attention to the lyrics in our music to make sure that they focus on three mains areas: A passionate expression of our faith; correct theological content; and a presentation of the Gospel through music.
Second, we seek to edify the body of Christ. This is also a Biblical mandate for our corporate worship time. We do this by making worship a joyful and enjoyable experience. We come together once a week to minister to one another, love each other and to build each other up. Our corporate worship is a time for the Body of Christ to be strengthened and drawn together.
Third, we seek to point the unbeliever to Christ. We recognize that the unbeliever cannot worship. However, they can watch the body of Christ worship and be drawn to Christ through what they observe.
